Approximately 20 years ago, Ken Harrington at age 47 was working at the Post Office in Wilmington, DE. Ken was working there for about 5 years but always wanted to move South since he was 13 years old. Ken's parents loved Delaware and never moved from there. Ken have lived in Wilmington all of his life, 27 years to be exact. One day Ken decided to check out jobs out of state in the following states: Georgia, Virginia, and North Carolina. Ken at 27 saw himself moving to Georgia, so he decided to pack up and move to Augusta, GA.

Meanwhile, Ken found him a job working at the Augusta Montana Post Office. Well, a beautiful brunette hair and beautiful green eyes woman by the name of Dorothy Monroe 47, who also 27 at the time came in the Post Office to mail off her package. She needed some stamps and bought some. It all happened while Dorothy was paying for her package to be mailed off. Dorothy and Ken had a conversation. Everything went very well as they hit it off when they started chatting.

Ken: Hi, how are you doing?
Dorothy: Great hun, I'm just mailing off this package to my sister and her hubby who lives in Delaware.
Ken: Wow, I just moved from Wilmington, DE to Augusta!
Dorothy: So what brings you to Augusta, hun?
Ken: I got tired of Delaware I have been there all of my life and I felt that it was time for a change and decided to move South. I worked at the Post Office in Wilmington for 5 years.
Dorothy: Wow that's great! What's ur name?
Ken: I'm Ken, What's your name beautiful?
Dorothy: It's Dorothy, it was really nice meeting you here Ken. Call me sometime. (Dorothy gives Ken her phone number)

When people normally meet in the Post office, it's usually just small talk but what made it so priceless was that very moment when Dorothy had given Ken her phone number. Dorothy liked Ken from then on after they chatted. Ken felt the same way about Dorothy. Ken and Dorothy kept in touch and a couple of months later, Ken invited Dorothy over for dinner one night. Ken and Dorothy enjoyed good home cooked food. Macaroni and cheese, collard greens, barbecue ribs, home made biscuits, sweet tea, and for dessert marble pound cake. That's some seriously good grub! Two years later, Ken and Dorothy got married. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Harrington have been married for 18 years now. Mr. & Mrs. Ken Harrington have 3 beautiful children 2 boys and a girl. The post office will always be Ken and Dorothy's "where they first met" place.

I thought that it would be a wonderful way to kick off favorite wildcard fictional stories by posting how Ken and Dorothy first met at a hospital in Augusta, GA where Ken moved to from Wilmington, DE. This fictional story is about someone who always wanted to move south and get a change. Ken lived up north all of his life and requested to be transferred and applied to the post office in Augusta. The boss at Ken's post office in Delaware accepted Ken's move to relocate out of state. Ken meet his wife at the post office Dorothy who was in the Augusta Montana post office while she was purchasing stamps and mailing off a package to her sister and brother-in-law. It happened to be in the state of Delaware where Ken moved from. To all of my readers and fellow bloggers, y'all are probably wondering why on earth am I doing fictional story wildcards. I thought that it would be a good idea to add a little twist to my blogging. Normally, when people think of wildcards, it's usually are people who are unpredictable and possible front-runners when it comes to competitions. In sports like football for example, you see football teams that appear like they are out of the playoffs surprise by putting together a 7 or 8 game winning streak and sneak into the playoffs as a wildcard. In writing it's the complete opposite. It was approximately 17 years ago when it all happened. Nick was trying to figure out what college he was going to go to. Nick had graduated from high school 22 years ago.
